Pig and Whisky Festival

The time when my parents told me we were going to the Pig and Whisky Festival, I was pretty excited for some reason. Quickly, I finished my breakfast mom made and prepared for the day.

I don't know the name, but it was oh-so-delicious.
But we didn't go to the event right away, we went to the Novi Public Library first to return and borrow books. The public library is basically my paradise because I adore books. I can finish more than two books a day, I swear.

There is a electronic section for kids that are under 6th grade.
After that off we went to the Pig and Whisky Festival. There was a lot of barbeque booth.

Barbeque pork ribs.
Barbeque wings and bratwurst.

I bet you are hungry now (Giggle), but that's completely normal because I am too. These stuff looks so delicious and juicy that my dad can't help but bought some. And it was delicious and juicy, just like I thought.

We got sick of the super hot weather not long after, so quickly we went into an air-conditioner filled building... I mean the Ferndale Public Library.

I realized there was a book that you cannot find in the Novi Public Library, so I read a part of the book as quickly as I can in the Ferndale Public Library. It was great.

Me, reading the book.

Not long after a librarian told us there was a space activity for kids. Mom brought Joyce and Kayce there while me and dad stayed in the books section.

Then I read.

And read.

And read...

…for a long time.

Finally, me and dad got up and went to meet mom and my little sisters. Looked like they were having fun making arts and crafts.

Me, checking out what they were doing.
Then it was time to go home. The festival was okay for me, it was not exactly fun, but it was not bad either.

I have to say that if the weather was better, we would have stayed longer. But since it was not and we had to go home... I was happy. I could not stand the horrible hotness of the sun!
